Featuring Will Palley and Amitha Raman, Co-Chairs of The Museum of Modern Art’s Young Patrons Council and hosts of the podcast Art from the Outside, in conversation with collector Jeffrey Liu.
This panel looks towards the next generation of collectors, discussing strategies for navigating the shifting art market. Considering how emerging patrons are building lasting relationships with artists and institutions, this conversation will discuss the role of young collectors in redefining the landscape of cultural philanthropy.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

JEFFREY LIU
Jeffrey Liu is the Co-Founder, Communications Director, and Program Curator of Stilllife, where he leverages his NYC and East Asian experiences to lead collaborative, cross-cultural art programming. A central next-gen tastemaker, Jeffrey is passionate about the intersection of art, fashion, and popular culture. As Chair of the Young Patron Council at Shanghai's Rockbund Art Museum, he deepens his global art engagement, supporting artists, collectors, and institutions. His leadership and knowledge foster a dynamic, inclusive art community that bridges Eastern and Western perspectives.

AMITHA RAMAN
Amitha Raman is the founder of AMITHA, a line of art-inspired luxury smoking accessories, and co-host of Art from the Outside podcast.
Amitha has been a Trustee of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture since 2020, and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Skowhegan Council. In addition, Amitha is co-chair of MoMA’s Young Patrons Council and a member of MoMA’s Black Arts Council. She is committed to supporting artists of color and female-identifying artists.
Amitha received a degree in Marketing Communication with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies from Emerson College.

WILL PALLEY
Will Palley is the co-founder of Art from the Outside, a podcast for anyone who wants an outside-in look at the art world.
Will is co-chair of MoMA's Young Patrons and sits on MoMA's Media and Performance Acquisitions Committee. He is also a member of Art21's Contemporary Council. He is committed to supporting queer and female artists, with an eye towards the Global South.
Will received a BA in Art History from Princeton University and is completing an MA in Art History at Hunter College. He currently leads global marketing insights at Meta.
