2022 Exhibitors

The fair’s core section, the 2022 edition will feature notable thematic, dual-artist, and solo-artist presentations within Galleries.

The Solo section focuses on intimate presentations of work by a single emerging, established, or historic artist working in the 20th or 21st century.

Curated by Carla Acevedo-Yates, Focus is titled Landscape Undone and features artists that examine the intersectionality of issues surrounding the environment, focusing on personal and political climates as they interact with race, gender, and power.

The Presents section spotlights emerging galleries no more than ten years old showcasing recent work in solo-and-dual artist presentations.

Curated by Tobias Ostrander, Platform is dedicated to large-scale installations and site-specific works under the theme of Monumental Change. The section examines how recent revisionist practices, which are part of dramatic cultural shifts occurring throughout the world, are influencing artists’ engagement with sculptural form.

Participating organizations—ranging from museums to not-for-profit galleries to art foundations—with The Armory Show, share their common desire to promote the visual arts to collectors and the general public alike.
